It's great to see so much amazing work on Mayhem, but are you selling yourself straight?
Perhaps you're not aware of your full potential or maybe you're just buried in your own ego.
Post here and I'll let you know my honest opinion on whether your bark is worse than your bite.

No cry babies!

When I was small, I'd sit on top of the doghouse with my dog and bark at people.  True story.

No Thommy, you're just about right, in fact I'd dare suggest you're slightly underselling yourself here.
I dig a lot your work, its solid and your wet plate is intriguing.

Hmmmm yes... Payback muahahahahaaa!!

Samantha your feet are on the ground girl, I'm not detecting any ego or delusional hype with you at all.
I would thoroughly enjoy working with someone with your creative and positive attitude.

I'm not quite sure what to expect from this but always up for input from someone whose work suggest they might know what they are talking about.....

Your bark is spot on, your wish list also is spot on and fully achievable with the right crew.
I feel you come across as a realistic and likeable model with good potential for the lifestyle market.

Lol you do have a great sense of humour and a level head. With a few tweaks in shop your work could really sing and you could be back on top of the doghouse before you know it smile

I'm afraid I'll be quite biased in my assessment of you MelissaAnn, because I pretty much admire all of what you do.
In your profile, I think you are realistic and also tough but fair in your wording.
On opening your portfolio I'd want to work with you regardless of what was written (unless you came off as a huge diva, which you don't), you're very realistic and inspirational.

Could use a little more info on your profile, I sense a mild undersell approach going on here.
You could definitely afford to crank it up a little, despite the fact your work speaks for itself.

I'm on the fence with you Too Hot For Snakes.
You've been here since 2008, you shoot at "the centre of the known universe" you have some amazing models and despite this, a lot of your work sits a little flat for my eye.
I'd dare suggest your work doesn't entirely live up to the hype, that being said, I absolutely love your work on the dry lake bed and want to see more of it.

I find your work to be somewhat cliche, underexposed and over processed in various combinations throughout your portfolio here.
You don't appear to be ringing your own bell too much, although you do make mention of other wedding and product work without a direct reference link to it, which only leaves me to wonder if its better or worse than what you have here.
You appear to be amateurish, but make no claim to be otherwise, so I'm giving you a clear report.
Yes your bark is as good as your bite.

Your profile is a little all over the map as is your work.
I'm not saying your work is bad, just that its very inconsistent
On your profile starting out with a cool laid back approach to it all, rocketing to, "the world is OURS" all within a few sentences.
Confusing, misleading, tongue in cheek?? Who knows, but more importantly who'd care to find out.
It seems you'd like your models to find you intriguing enough to chase you by the way in which you request they, "connect with you on Facebook".
Your bark is worse than your bite I'm afraid.

To me you seem to be pitching yourself in a very rational manner and I note the mention of no nudes more than once on your profile.
To me this is fine, as I do understand how some males can lack the appropriate reading and comprehension skills when it comes to getting ladies nekid.
I do find your reference to implied and lingerie shoots a little ambiguous, to mention sensual as a comparison sexual leaves a lot to the imagination in anyone's mind.
Perhaps a few listings of reference images would help clear this up for many and land you more paid work sooner than later.
With the right outlook and approach you could start making money within a week.

No your bark is not worse than your bite, in fact i see it as the opposite here, but once you sort your sensual from sexual definitions out it could come close.

Your profile matches your work in most regards, although, not always in a good way.
I don't see any of your work even coming close to your favourites list, from this point I'm left wondering about your motivations for taking up photography.
No your bark is not worse than your bite.
