I wonder if anyone can help me. A friend of mine is runs a fledgling upcycling furniture/fabric company and wants to have a online shop/presence. She is non-technical etc and just wants some where that will host her site, she can use template like designs with a degree of customisation to create the site.

I guess the feel of etsy /big cartel but as a standalone site.

Also somewhere unlike wix that is non flash reliant so can be viewed on apple tablets etc. Ideally the online shop will have paypal intergration etc


Any words of wisdom let me know !!

Use Dreamveaver, write compliant code and create a mobile site.

Don't use Flash, don't use Java

You can build HTML5 (non flash) sites on wix now.
