You're not the expert know all of what every photographer wants. So don't speak for them. If you want a tan model without fake boobs, post a damn casting call for it.
Seriously just stop telling models what to do. This is the second thread I've seen you start today trying to tell models what to do.
You are not the only photographer on here. And not all models have the same goals as you.
I personally don't care for most body modifications, from piercings to tattoos and of course any plastic surgery. But I am smart enough to know that there are enough people who do appreciate those things, either as the person getting them, or the person taking the picture, that its none of my business to tell them.
If a model asks me, "would you still shoot me if I....." I will tell her, but other than that its none of my business, and none of yours.
Just my $0.02
Preach! Body modifications are a art in its own, including silicone boob jobs. I know several stunningly beautiful women who have them and they aren't even noticeably big! Some get it just to go up a size or two and it overall improves their look and physique! It's really up to the model what they do with their body, and if they rock in then you should be all for it!

What's "expected" of us? Hey, if you don't want breast implants, say so. The rest of society can individually determine whether or not they want boobies or not. What if a model got a breast reduction? Is she crossed off the list because she wants to have smaller tits and didn't fit your "expectations"? Dude....

None of us are experts it's about sharing opinions and then arriving at consensus.

How much are you willing to pay us to listen to you?
Is there a multi-million dollar job in this that we can get if we do as you say and don't get implants? Just trying to figure out what the reward is and if it's worth it.

I'm going to say that if you read all the responses, you'll see the consensus is to work with whoever you want, don't work with people you don't want to, and stop telling models what to do.

Pretty simple.
I'm not telling them what to do. Just sharing ideas. Boo, hoo!
Thank god for this man and his teachings. We models are such simple fools who need to be dictated to by mediocre photographers if we are to ever reach our potential. What would we do without him?!?

READ!!!
I did not preach. I simply said I do not care for them but I would never do what the OP did.
You can no more tell ME what I should like or not like than I can tell YOU what you should like or not like. Go ahead get tats and piercings - I don't care either way what you do to your body.

I was agreeing with you. My statement was directed towards OP. Sorry if I made it seem like it was directed to you

Post in critique and I'll let you know whether it matters that my boobs are real.
Hey Jim, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you have never carried a baby to term, breastfed a baby, and do not have breasts of your own, so you really have no idea what kind of toll age and motherhood takes on a woman's body. You should keep your opinion to your profile.
to me a more relevant issue is whether the mayhem browse should allow one to choose between natural and enhanced. not to mention tattoos (but is it enough to just say yes or no?), piercings, etc. then people like the OP could steer clear of the models they say they do not want.
to be fair, though, should photographer then have to declare "crop vs. full-frame" or rebel vs. 5D MKIII or home vs. studio or GWC vs. perv?
well, one could imagine the browse having a lot more options.

No problem. Since my comment was the only one that showed in your post I thought it was to me. I would hate for anyone to think I shared the OP's opinion.
i think it's fine for him to not want to shoot enhanced models. we all have our own particular tastes. for my part i like the way natural breasts hang/jiggle. i've seen enhanced ones that point straight out at all times (locked down tight). but to start a thread about that in the model forum is really not such a good idea. and it's never a good idea to dictate how others should behave. just state your own personal preference if you care to.

To know what is required of them? Really you got to be kidding me. Models can get implants tattoos or anything else they want. You have say who you hire, but no say in what a model decides to do.

not completely true. especially if a photographer is paying sometimes a model will do their nails or personal grooming in a certain way. it's up to each model is the thing.
