I've already posted this in the travel and events forums and posted a travel notice.  I'm posting here specifically looking for London artists who are interested/willing in letting me shadow/assist them.  I have already contacted a few artists I admire via their Facebook fanpage but I have unfortunately not received any replies from them.

I am hoping to get a work Visa next year so I am able to live in London for a year or two, so I want to network artists/photographers/stylists etc. Before I go there so I am not starting from scratch when I arrive.

Even if there are any artists who are willing to meet up for coffee or lunch and talk about what it's like to live/work in London, that would be fantastic.

I would love to hear if anyone has advice as to other ways I can network while I'm in London, and good ways to go about finding/contacting artists who would let me shadow and assist.  I have thus far not had much luck.
I will be there from the 13th to the 20th of May.
