Rarely, I'm a serious guy and my shoots reflect that. Maybe for smiley commercial work.

You can laugh, joke and clown all day when there's no money involved.

It's all fun and games until someone pokes an eye out. Forgive me. I couldn't resist.

For some reason, I had loads of laughing from the models at my shoots today. It was fun.

I consider laughter a fountain of youth, makes me look 10 years younger, true story

During a recent shoot, we were trying something where the model was sitting on the floor, then raised her butt up while supporting herself on her hands and feet. The poor girl looked so awkward and I couldn't help but sing the Spiderman theme song.
"Spiderman, Spiderman! Does whatever a spider can!"
She totally lost it.
We didn't end up using the shot, but here's your proof.

I don't have a formula but things just happen along the way that cracks one of us up. Sometimes it is something one of us will say and sometimes it is just me trying to show her a pose I want her to do :-)

If I work with a photographer that I couldn't laugh with, I wouldn't book again with that photographer. Its that serious!

I always try to get some laughing/giggling going on. Sometimes, it happens just because we're BOTH feeling giggly. or what we're doing is kinda nutty. Either way, we had a blast!
I'm sure it also helps that when i'm happy, I grin like a maniac while i'm shooting- so the model just sees this grinning camera.
No sample, most cause she hasnt' seen the pictures yet. No posting giggly ones first! The rest of them are all 18+

This shot is from my first shoot with a model (model's first shoot ever).
This was the last shot at a recent shoot. Model was nude. As we were wrapping up, I asked if there was anything else she would like to do.
Reply "YES! Put some clothes on! I'm freezing!"

When I sent her this crop, I said "I bet you weren't thinking this would be a headshot when I took it, did you?"
Shooting with Guy is always fun.
