Does any one have any knowledge of Top Model Worldwide as a friend of mine wants to enter and i am always a little wary of modelling competitions that want an entry fee.

For whatever it's worth, almost all photographic contests have entry fees and almost all galleries have hanging fees (and take a percentage of the sale).  Paying to enter something is not new from this side of the camera.

Its not a photographic competition. It is a modelling competition.
