First I want to thank you all and tell you I love you all so much! All the kindness and concern you sent my way really put my mind and spirit in the right place. I checked in a little early and they got right to me. The staff were very nice. They had me out like a light in no time. It feels like a split second later that its all over the the nurses are letting you know everything is OK.

I got a nice private room so I got lots of sleep. They gave me a hungry man dose of Dilaudid when ever I wanted and that really did the trick. They took a lot of skin from my thigh, about twice what I expected. Turns out the doctor did a pretty extensive debridement he needed more skin to cover the larger area.

We look at the graft site on Thursday. Until then I am on lots of rest and relaxation. I told everyone about you guys! It really makes a lot of difference when there are people who care. Thank you all!
