people treat their bags too carefully. if you are going to be careful you could use a shopping bag or a 19.95$ special from walmart.  These things are built to take punishment and protect your gear. I got an OGIO backpack for school because I asked someone about their cool new bag and they replied "This? I've had it through undergrad and grad school It's got to be seven years old at least"  Every day use for 7 years carrying books and pencils and lumpy shit is what the fabrics can do now.
someone should buy your bag.  you haven't used it yet.

That is a pretty stupid statement to make for someone who doesn't know me at all! That bag has been used plenty..3 times across the country,,,backpacked in the desert, up mountains in Montana, used in many, many Maine winters, and it always traveled with me on my old '73 BMW motorcycle trips.

I just happen to take care of all my gear, whether it is my camera equipment or my art supplies. I use my 30 year old outdoor easel all the time, and I have watercolor brushes almost that old.

AND, if I don't get 300,000 miles out of my vehicles ( and that's in Maine), I feel like it was a lemon!

Come to think of it, my camera bag has too many memories. I am not using it right now, but I don't think I got my money's worth out of it yet, so I think I will keep it for my next camera!

Thanks!  smile
