simple answer: behave in a completely professional manner until the shoot is over. once you're no longer in a position to potentially ruin the shoot if he says no, ask if he wants to go get coffee or something with you.

Haha, I think it's perfectly normal. People feel so alienated sometimes, that the first person who pays genuine interest to them comes of as a breath of fresh air. And many models are starved for attention, while good photographer are skilled at making their subjects feel comfortable... There is nothing wrong with that, as long as everyone is enjoying themselves :-)

If you're attracted to the photographer, all I can say is SAY SOMETHING; don't just rely on body language & flirting.

Otherwise you'll never know if the other person would even be receptive to it. (This holds true outside of the industry as well).
