Is a PLM a parabolic umbrella? Because that is what it looks like to me. Look at Profoto, Broncolor, or Briese.

The modifier in the photo is NOT a PLM. The PLM has 16 ribs, the mod in the photo has 8.

It does not look like a PLM, the reflection is much different..
You can see what looks like the inside Velcro panel around the base of the light thats removable

Getting very specific, i think its a photoflex octodome. They have wide velcro atrips along the ribs for silver and gold diffusers.
