Something is amiss with the size of her hooters compared to the size of her head, I smell digital alteration there big time, just not normal i mean look at those melons they are bigger than her head; i know she is well endowed, but not like i see in that photo.
We had a thread going on a few days ago asking models if they would do a nude shoot outside in freezing cold temperatures. Apparently she did, at least implied. Be as critical as you want, kudos to her for being professional.
Cover is okay-wish they'd ditch the body paint thing.Been done to death.Wish they'd let the sports shooters shoot these like back in the day with Walter Iooss.Maybe they'd bring a fresh perspective.
kate was on letterman last nite and seemed pretty normal... but she didn't flinch an inch when dave asked why they just didn't do the cover background with a greenscreen... Although she didn't deny that... she just said, "that is what my mother said!"
But that cover is so obviously faked it reaks!
-oh and why anyone would recomend that ridiculious TR video of Kate "dancing" is beyond me! What a joke!

Don't estimate crispness and sharpness of the views in the North (or South...). The sense of distance is gone. Everything - a mile, twenty or thirty is razor sharp.. and looks awfully close.
I'm going to be representing 37 of the penguins that they failed to get a model release from. The rest are going with a big box firm that lured them with promises of freshly rotten herring. only a lawyer could sell freshly-rotten as a concept
I'm tired of Kate Upton. Expose to the world to someone new instead of the same old tired retreads.
Yes, she's gorgeous. But we've seen her a million times.
Edit: I just realized what a hypocrite I am after reading my post. I'm just sick of HER. I never get tired of Miranda Kerr or Adriana Lima. And I'm still not sick of Kate Moss (I know, I know).
I wonder if they saw Joe McNally's new book Sketching Light? I know there's nothing new under the sun, but damn, it came out this year. Bodacious tatas indeed.

Actually, the more I look at that pic the smaller her head looks, way out of proportion with her boobs. Did they mistakingly crop and re-size her head on?

I like how the photographer gets a life jacket. The model just gets a coat.
The best thing about that cover shot is that it helped me forget last year's SI cover of Kate Upton which was easily the worst picture I have ever seen on the front of a major magazine. (Except of course, every picture of some ragged out "movie star" on the cover of virtually every fashion magazine in the US.)

It's better then last year, that's for sure (not saying much!). Some of the pics on the SI site from the shoot are decent, others kind of boring. I feel they could have done much more with such an awesome location. But then again I don't know much about swimsuit shooting or shooting in Antarctica so what do I know
