Gas is $4.00 a gallon but I can fly round trip to Puerto Rico from Tampa for $110

It is LITERALLY cheaper to fly round trip to Puerto Rico than it is to Drive round trip to Miami

Crazy

Get a vehicle with better mileage?
20mpg@$4 the trip would cost you $100 to Miami.

Or you could live here and only be paying $3.59. smile

Fucking gas went up .50 in the past 3 weeks here
I think because of the tourists

But my car gets 21mpg

It's just amazing how cheap some of the flights are to the Islands from Florida
Ive gone to the Dominican Republic 4 times in the last 3 months
Those flights are $187

For pure shooting Puerto Rico is probably a better destination
There in the colonial city there is the fort and all the old buildings

The beaches are wonderful, the rain forest

Truthfully they are very similar, but PR is just cleaner than the DR

But the DR is better for non family friendly activities

Gas prices always go up this time of year in FL, at least in my area.

Daytona 500 and Bike Week.
