True story,
Corinne Day walked into the studio one day to shoot Levis, she grabbed the nearest magazine, thumbed the pages till she found something she liked, then turned to everyone and said... "we'll do it like this today". Her fee was probably about £50k at the very least.
Inspiration comes in many shapes and forms. Doesn't really matter where it comes from, as long as the team are clear on what the task is. Now whether you would like a dozen e-mails or a phone call, I couldn't care, but that communication is necessary.
I totally agree with you, communication is the key.
I have a look book, so I can collect pictures for my inspiration. That could be on the overall look, posing, styling, make-up and hair.
When I start on the photoshoots, its going to be a joint decision on what direction we all take. I want to get inspiration from pictures to start the creativeness flowing.
Hopefully I explained myself well lol.
Thank you for your feedback.
