Over 300 vintage aircraft and 200+ custom cars will be on hand for this funfilled once a year event. This will be the 7th year Select Models has hosted a groupshoot event at this airshow (see previous event images to be posted below). FREE admission to the airshow, with a $10 parking fee.
To save money on parking, we will be meeting at 10am, and carpooling from the local K-Mart shopping center parking lot (by Mobil Gas Station), across the street and one block away. There is NO photographers fee (or models fee) to attend this event. Just show up with your model and you'll be shooting with a great group of Model Mayhem members...
To participate in this groupshoot, all attending photographers MUST bring at least one model, supply her with free parking and free dinner at 'The Sizzler' restuarant at the end of the event (3:30pm).
Recommended lighting is on camera strobes, tripod mounted speedlights (no large power-supply strobes) and reflectors. All models and photographers interested are welcome to post on here, and can use this thread for 'model & photographer connections' in participating. Hey Laszlo... killer shot of 'Exotica Jen' (your avatar) at the SM studios... hope to seeya April 6th at the Riverside Airshow. I've been tryin to get that girl to join MM for over a year now... but she's to busy makin 1000s of dollars a week 'doin other things'...
And don't forget... the day after this airshow (April 7)... you're lookin at the best camera swapmeet in SoCal with super deals on all kinds of camera and studio stuff... right here in close-by West Covina...
Grr!! Missed it again!! I was just out in Chino, CA at the Airport last week a few days at the museums there!! Flew back to OH on the morning of the 6th!! Too bad I didn't know sooner.... I couldve stayed longer! Maybe next time...
