no offense, but you would be better off discussing the shoot with the photographer that is going to shoot it. Also, perhaps do your homework and research your competition for the shoot in advance to see what they are doing, and that will let you know what your strengths and weaknesses are. Also, why copy someone elses idea verbatim instead of creating your own? Usually for the sake of competition, creating something that is new and unique of your own goes a lot further than taking the lazy way out and coming on a message board to steal other peoples ideas. just saying.

Looking at other peoples work to get inspired is not stealing peoples ideas. So close minded... roll

looking at work in the sources that are already readily available at his fingertips on the internet is one thing if it leads to his own composition/interpretation of an idea. Specifically asking people to show him their work for ideas that he can use because he has not explored all options is a completely different ballgame. A better approach would be to go find 5 ideas, bring them into the forums and share those ideas, and then get critical feedback from whomever wishes to contribute to do R&D to develop those ideas into something usable vs just having everyone hand ideas over to him. hence forth, not closed minded, but attempting to help the OP realize that he has the creative tools at hand already to put himself into the position that he wants to be in.

Maybe contrasting images:

- High Fashion in heavily industrial settings (wrecking yards, demolished buildings)
- Extreme Alternative Fashion at an Opera House or 5 Star Hotel
- High fashion in shot with heavily worked, dirty blue collar types.

Would probably make more sense to discuss this with your photographer.  Only he/she knows what resources he has and if he's capable of producing a similar look/vibe.

He didn't ask for people to show him their work... He asked for ideas. I gave him some by using google.  People always ask for help when they have looked but still are stuck. Nothing wrong with that. This is a place where new people come for help and grow their talent.

You are way to paranoid. If you are worried about people "stealing" your ideas just stay away from threads like these. Geeeeeez roll
