Finally decided to buy it cause the deal was just to good to pass up...

Nik Software has a MAJOR promo on their entire suite. 70% off. You can now get the full Nik Suite for $149. Use the discount code HOPPER when checking out and you'll get another 15% discount. This'll make it a total of $126.50 (previously $500).

At that price I was like why not lol....

Thanks.  Grabbed a full suite too as I only had the B&W one, and it seems better than the Topaz B&W one too.

Control Points are nice to have too!

If you have bought any of the products in the last 5 years or so, you can get the entire suite for free now. You should have received an email with a download link in it.

There's a thread in the Photography forum; it seems that lots of people got that email and thought it was spam.

Holy crap.  Thank you - I was quite literally just about to go delete my spam as part of a regular purge.  That'd have been a kick in the arse....

Does it not say how long the promo is for or am I just missing it?  Got a big pay day coming up soon from a job and a birthday...this would be a nice gift to myself

As far as I can tell, it's not a promo; it's now the permanent policy as a result of Google buying Nik Software.

Ooooh that makes sense.  So I guess you just can't buy them separately anymore only as a group.  Still I guess that promo code won't last long...

I always did think these were a bit overpriced, their products are cool (I have some free stuff that came with my drawing tablet right now and have tested out others) for sure but still way too much.

I have one tip and one question.
Tip - If you have problems with the HDR Efex on a MacBook Pro, try disabling GPU in the HDR Efex settings.
Question - Is there a way of hiding the Control Point sliders in Viveza and just working from the sliders in the palette? The last thing I want when I'm trying to make subtle adjustments to part of an image is to have a bunch of controls floating on top of the area I'm trying to assess.

Thx for the info and the discount.

Nik software is great, color effex. silver efex is great! But topaz denoise is best for noise reduction imo.

I have it and it feels like a collection of action buttons. Maybe it is worth it if I experiment around?
