This is actually a party photo taken by good friend of mine and I was already quite drunk at that moment...
I have had some bad critics on it, but it just brings great and funny memories and I love it, do not care what others say!

This is mine. It was a difficult shoot for several reasons. A tornado came through and knocked trees down across the road in two places locking us in. A group of people showed up while we were shooting in this old house where we had permission to shoot from the owner. Because of the storms during the day, the lighting was going from sunny to dark on a regular basis. But we got this one, and it made it worthwhile for me.

to imbed the pic, use [img]paste the "image location" here[img/].
no spaces. I always forget if the / is before or after the second img.
easy to edit either way.

80 views, no comments. Still, I really like this photo, and really don't care. smile

I like it too. Chebo is a great model and the shadow creates interest.

This one means the most to me. In a contest here the topic of the weekend was 'reflections' and I knew people were going to use water or mirrors. I went into my basement with a photo of me and my first girlfriend circa 1980. She died of kidney failure in 1994.
I got a lot of views early and a few comments but its one of those photos that I love and as long as I am on MM it will be part of my portfolio.

Evocative image and great story behind it. You should include that story in your caption. Thanks for sharing.

It packs an emotional punch. Sometimes raw emotions make people uncomfortable and they prefer to comment on "happy" images.

Great story. I should start a "Story Behind the Photo" thread based on the great back stories we've had. Love the image too. Very ethereal.

As photographers we must please ourselves first. Everything else is a bonus. I like the image. Maybe people think that the pose is a bit stiff?

You have a cute smile & pose, but the picture is a bit muddy and fuzzy, plus you blend into the background. That's my guess how others also view it.

The sun had gone down and I lost natural light, so I decided to try camera mounted flash.  I was going for a washed-out paparrazi look, but  I hadn't studied my rarely used 580ex II enough.  I got this shot, and even thought it's not technically  perfect, which I didn't want since it was supposed to look raw, she looks so gorgeous in it,  I expected she'd get more attention.

I like the dramatic lighting too, but the overall lack of contrast makes the image look washed-out. The outfit is nice, but a more form-fitting top might look better.

I like it and it deserves comments. I'm not sure what "a washed-out paparrazi look" is, but I like her pose. She looks like she's about to sprint off in those sexy boots.

It's a cool photo and subject. But I think I see the problem. The fabric cloak streaming behind her almost matches the tone of the horse, so in a thumbnail it kind of looks like a 2-headed horse. A lighter fabric wouldn't have been as distracting. Her face is also in shadow.

This one. It was for something I did back when I had a Myspace. It was a photo assignment called music is my life. I spent a lot of time thinking how to do this one, and this is what I came up with.

I like it. The model, light & mood are all good. The only thing that might be holding it back is that she appears to be yanking on that necklace pretty hard. It looks a bit uncomfortable. I'd also crop out the knee.

I like the pose and b&w. The things that don't work is that your left arm is "missing" and your legs aren't visible underwater, which looks odd.

It may not be getting much love because your dress blends into the dark wall, especially as a thumbnail. It looks better full size.

I like the theme, but as a thumbnail you don't notice that the marks on your face are notes. And honestly, you look depressed rather that intently listening. My 2 cents.
