Hey all!
I'm getting way too many images here. While I have been modeling for a long time, I want to have room to grow the port. And I have been meaning for SO long to get some honest opinions of which pics are the weakest and I should cut.

Everything is ordered from newest to oldest.

Please help by sending me pic link. As few or as many as you think should go smile

And even....

What do you think is the strongest?

Thanks all; Have fun browsing =P

This one is tops on my list of 'gotta go's--

Gas masks are sooo cliche... also any railroad tracks shots, caution tape shots, angel wings shots... you get the idea. Stuff that's been worked to death poorly.

I'd also consider dumping those 'headless' art shots and images containing anybody else. Let 'em get their own portfolio.

Just my opinion.

Honestly I want my port to have MORE fine art. Not taking out the artsy stuff. My body is my main tool. And one of those "headless" photos is a VERY strong body shot, so not likely to remove it.

I really like gas masks..when done well. Which with a fine art feel, I love. I've been debating about that pic tough, it was added later to the middle of the batch so kinda got lost in all of it. But I want more like that in my port. So hate removing it. Maybe, up for debate =P

maybe you can help us with this monumental task by creating 5 folders with 30 related pics in each one and then some one can tell you their fave 5 pics from each folder but as it is now, no way

It is organized from recent to oldest.
If I put them into folders, people then always just click "View All".
and it messes things up and looks like crap. Hence why it's all together to begin with in an orderly fashion.

This is just thrown out there for all those people who like to critique. You don't want to do it, move on.

It takes 3 seconds to scroll through a profile and notice which ones you love or hate.
I'm not asking for an analysis on every photo >_

LOL yeah that's the point, scan through the thumbnails. That's just what I said.

..this is the critique forum. You don't have time to critique, don't be here.

Yeah... no!

I was going to be bothered but you seem to have an attitude.

Somebody tells you what you think and you tell him he's wrong to suggest that image. And now you're telling people 'not to be here'?

Good luck.

No. No attitude. it's just incredibly annoying when people just nag in the forums.
It makes no sense. Just help or don't. I don't know why people have to complicate things.

Just so typical of these damn forums.
People just love to shoot people down.
When it's simple. be constructive.
If someone doesn't like the way I have things organized, just move on.

It's like a new modeling posting a pic for critique. Instead of people telling her how to improve, they will tell her she's not fit to be a model.

It's just ridiculous how these things get >_

Honestly, about half of your portfolio could go, but I would definitely ditch the bottom 6 rows.  You've got so much better now, and the weaker images do nothing but drag your port down.

Continued luck! smile

Thanks. Yeah I've debated with the older stuff. Kind of like showing more "the beginnings" but makes sense to get rid of it as I'm stronger now.

And lovely work with Donna & Keith!

i only looked through the first 60. of those, i'd consider removing these:

1,2,4,6,10,11,13,16,18,20,21,22,25,26,28,31,36,40,41,42,43,46,52,56,60

you could get many new looks and shots replacing just those.

You've got lots of eye-catching images, Ivy!  :-))

I come from the school of "less is more"...

As such, I think too many models and photogs have way too many shots in their portfolios here.

Pick 30-40 photographs which you consider to be your finest, getting rid of the rest...

That way you'll WOW people who come to look at your work.  :-))

Best of good luck!!!

Way to many images and too many duplicate looking images.

I would suggest getting rid of the old stuff, since your looks have changed.(everyone does)

If you have some older stuff that you can't live without, throw them in a dated folder and that way you still have them.

Thanks all. I have deleted about 50 photos now.
Some I do like as a series (i.e. the black top and green top with Rodney Mickle. So will likely keep those together)

I really would have liked to organize by categories more but the fine lines between glamour/fashion/art. etc. are more a matter of opinion sometimes. And every time I see someone click on someone's profile, I always see them go to "view all" if it's not already there. So feels a bit pointless to separate.
