As stated above. The background kills it for me.

Get closer open up to 2.8 or lower and blow that background away.

sorry, not there yet. keep shooting and try opening up to get rid of the background like others have mentioned. Also, from a composition stand point, try something other than center weighted images with your model directly in the center of the frame. It feels very snap shot like in this sense. Your model also looks a bit uneasy, maybe have her run, jump, skip, frolic..etc. before going into the pose. If she is having fun on the shoot, it will show in the image. good luck

edit:  also be careful with the term fashion. Most serious fashion work requires models with very specific stats/looks. This looks more like an attempt at portraiture or editorial at best.

It is way too much of the bad things and not enough of the good things required, is my personal thought.
  Look at fashion mags,,, see what/how and why things are done. Anyone could have taken this,,, problem is anyone will not be in the fashion mags...   
   Start looking then do your own twist those type shots. When you look them MAKE SURE you see what you are looking at,,,study eveything.....
