Haha , I see what you did there! I adore this show. I'm so terribly sad it's gone again.
You cannot beat it. At least we will always have reruns and the entire collection, save the latest season on Netflix. And I shall rewatch them. Many times.

A friend of mine suggested that Netflix could buy new seasons if they wanted to, but because it isn't technically a a Network the show could receive no awards if they were to continue on there. I think they could go to TBS with Conan. smile I think the show is too smart and cleaver and not purely about shock value and ripping of preexisting pop culture like Family Guy does. I wish it could have gone on at least as long as the Simpson since the Simpsons have sucked after season 10 (according to a fan of the Simpsons).

You can freeze yourself  until they are uncancelled again.

I haven't heard that it got cancelled.

I loved the first run a big lot -- it was very funny.
I liked the second run a bit -- it was occasionally funny.

I'll miss it, but when I do, I'll be missing the original run more.

I seent that Adult Swim did a RIP for it a few days ago during one of their drops.

Someone will pick it up again.  It still has fairly strong ratings and the creator still wants to do it.

I wish so too! I haven't been watching the Simpsons lately, but only because I don't do normally scheduled TV. Its too expensive. I still like it. But It would be lovely if some other network would pick it up!

I'm still concerned. I guess although maybe on average the ratings were good I think they might have been irratic. I am just hoping comedy central simply has something better in mind for the time slot and isn't just being an asshole. I know Matt G. said from the start of the new run he pretty much had his suitcase at the door at all times, but also that the show has many stories to tell. Honestly i didn't like the show when it first aired, but it grew on me, and it grew much more when I saw what the alternatived ended up being. lol. It really is a sharp TV show that isn't too offensive, certainly doesn't strive to be, and handles satire about today and the potential future quite well.

I never really got into the relaunched version. Still havent seen most of the 'new episodes'. Loved the original.
