Futurama Canceled Again!!!
Anyone else a fan of the show? With this cancelation of the show I really don't want to live on this planet anymore. lol. Apr 30 13 09:22 pm Link Haha , I see what you did there! I adore this show. I'm so terribly sad it's gone again. You cannot beat it. At least we will always have reruns and the entire collection, save the latest season on Netflix. And I shall rewatch them. Many times. I loved the first run a big lot -- it was very funny. I liked the second run a bit -- it was occasionally funny. I'll miss it, but when I do, I'll be missing the original run more. I know Matt G. said from the start of the new run he pretty much had his suitcase at the door at all times, but also that the show has many stories to tell. Honestly i didn't like the show when it first aired, but it grew on me, and it grew much more when I saw what the alternatived ended up being. lol. It really is a sharp TV show that isn't too offensive, certainly doesn't strive to be, and handles satire about today and the potential future quite well. I think the show is too smart and cleaver and not purely about shock value and ripping of preexisting pop culture like Family Guy does. I wish it could have gone on at least as long as the Simpson since the Simpsons have sucked after season 10 (according to a fan of the Simpsons).
