Is there a way to save (or lift) a video from youtube? Maybe a program or something?

Ok for the scoop: I posted some videos on there a couple of years back and now I can't find the originals on my hard drive. I know, I know, what an idiot, right? Ok, ok, ok, they're videos of my mom and I need to burn them to disk before her birthday in three weeks.

Anyway, thanks for any help!

The latest version of RealPlayer can also download youtube videos.   A little window will appear in the top right saying Download This Video.   Just click on that.

The best browser extensions for that are for Firefox.

Tools --> Add-ons --> Get Add-ons --> seach for   "youtube downloader"  --> install
