Any time I get something with bacon on/in it, I take it apart and savor it by itself. I feel a little cheated when the bacon gets all mixed up in the other flavors of things.

I had bacon chocolate once and was very disappointed. I used to be so crazy about bacon but I find myself being more and more underwhelmed by meat in general. 15 year old me would be so ashamed.

I wrap my bacon in real Canadian maple syrup and Montreal steak spice.

The UN has just declared it as it's own food group.

WIN!

I learned to make these with some BBQ shredded pork or brisket stuffed into the jalapeno along with some cream cheese and cooked in a BBQ pit smoker. big_smile  We called them A.B.T's, or Atomic Buffalo Turds. wink
