This is an image of a man standing in a white space. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/272 … 3-5369.jpg
Most of the white space is already a 'pure white' that is RGB 255,255,255, however some of the space is not yet a pure white. I'm trying to work out some way to automate the isolation process. I process thousands of these images a year so doing it all manually takes up a lot of time. Since I isolate so many images by hand I already know quite well how to isolate an image. What I don't know well is how to setup an automation photoshop action or script to have it do most if not all of the work for me. The other problem I run into is that there will be slight changes in lighting from photoshoot to photoshoot. So when I isolate by hand I adapt where need be, but I will assume this will pose a challenge to automation software.
I am aware the are isolation software from ononesoftware.com etc, but those take a ridiculous amount of time to use. By hand I can isolate in photoshop each image in probably 30 seconds or less. Nevertheless I'd like to work out how to have software do it all or mostly do it all in a second or two.
