Even the brightest, most talented, and successful people in the world need a little bit encouragement at certain moments. If this is one of those 'moments' for you, well that's what I'm here for. You can also send me a private message if you prefer to keep everything private.

Jorge Kreimer wrote: Sure! What I like about your work is that it's different, and that in itself makes it remarkable. So often we, or at least I, see portfolios with very similar photos. Of course the models are different, and so are the locations and outfits; but what I mean is that the 'soul' of the image presented is the same. There is even a certain retouching style which has sort of become 'the standard'. With you I get 'different', and to me that is like a breath of fresh air. Bravo.

I don't mean a person that does a few photoshoots and then sits back and hopes for some big 'opportunity' to come knocking at his or her door, but the type of person that goes out into the real world and tries to create opportunities for themselves. That goes double for someone like you, who might not fit into the idea of what 'the average joe' sees as a model, but is still able to achieve a measure of success through perseverance and hard work, and basically laughing in the face of possible failure or what to a lot of people is even worst than failure, ridicule.

LizTess wrote: Encouragement is always nice Just from reading your profile I think you have your life more in order at eighteen, than most adults. You're part of a magic show, you're studying to be a personal trainer, you're a Zumba instructor, and you're a biology major in school. Wow, I'm impressed. Busy people, I have found, are often ambitious people. Ambition is one of the best qualities a person can have, in my book. On top of it you seem to have a very easy going temperament, and I like your face, which I think has an almost Eastern European quality to it because of the slightly round shape of your bone structure. Eastern European women are envied for this quality, which is often present because of the proximity of Eastern Europe to Asia, and has the effect of 'softening' Caucasian features in a very attractive way.

Given the choice between a photographer with great technical expertise but little creativity, or one with incredible creativity but low technical skill, I believe that the more creative person has a higher 'ceiling'. Technical expertise can always be acquired, more so in today's world which is filled with online guides and youtube videos. Creativity you usually have to be born with. (or do lot's of LSD.......I'm only kidding!)

Alexandra R Y wrote: Sounds lovely ^.^ Well, I'll be honest; what immediately jumps at me is that you have the type of figure that I think (nearly) every girl would envy. So like Elle Macpherson and Heidi Klum, who also shared this nickname at certain points of their careers, I think your new nickname should be 'the body'. I also think that you have a high quality portfolio, although I personally favor your nudes. Why cover something up that looks so nice? (Just my opinion). If I was your advisor, I would tell you to start building a fanbase using social media and then monetize those fans by linking them back to a personal website where you sell them content, posters, as well as merchandise and services that you sponsor. You have what it takes to do it successfully (I know what I'm talking about here).

About your smile; Even though your smile is not the typical 'print model' smile (the type that you might expect to see in some toothpaste commercial), I think it's charming, and sweet and has an infectious quality to it. Mainly I just think that you're the type of girl that is low maintenance, easy to get along with, quick with a smile, and who always has sort of a 'chipper' and upbeat personality, which tends to put people around you at ease. You're an easy person to trust. It's all in your face. By the way, everything that I've just said is incredibly rare to find and awesome! So.........smile wide!

winking_wonder wrote: I don't find this particularly encouraging... Also you have said nothing about my images or anything about me as a model. To simplify, I was saying that I admire that fact that you are persistent and hard working, and that you have been successful despite not fitting 'the blueprint' of what makes a conventional model. About your images or portfolio; I'm not necessarily critiquing images or portfolios. I'm just offering encouragement. I'm sorry if you didn't find what I said to be encouraging. It was certainly meant to be.

It's easy to understand, uncluttered, and doesn't have tons of images or 'gimmicks'. Thumbs up to you there. Finally I have to say that in some of your samples you show great promise that will no doubt be realized in the future.

Often I will look at a models portfolio and immediately ask her to send me a cell phone snapshot just so I have some idea of what she looks like. (although I understand that in some cases 'strong digital effects' are being used by design in order to meet a certain artistic vision) I think a good way of putting into words what I'm thinking is by using the adage, "simple is the ultimate sophistication" to describe your portfolio.

When you think about it, people wished the same thing of Marilyn in 'her day', and they wish it of all the pretty celebrities today; which actually explains why people tend to go 'a little crazy' for celebrity sex tapes or nude photos taken by paparazzi. Vicariously they are wishing they could be with that person. I guess that one day you are just going to have to accept the fact that people just find you incredibly desirable. Maybe you should build a fanbase and capitalize on it.

The main thing to remember is that 'the map to becoming a success', goes right through a minefield of failures; and that's no quote, that's me telling you how it is. So heck, come back after your life feels like it's about to go up in smoke. That just means that you're really close (to succeeding). There are so many examples of this throughout history that in my mind it's nearly indisputable. So next time you feel discouraged, give us a big show of defiance by smiling and trying even harder. That's the type of attitude that we all want to see.

You are young and vibrant and lovely, and I expect you to remain in demand for at least another decade. And when that decade is over, the memories of your travels, and of the friends you make, of your adventures and misadventures, will seem so much a part of the person you are that it will seem inconceivable that you even entertained the thought of qui...(I won't even say the word). Hey, this is almost like time travel. I looked into your future and told you what I saw. So don't screw up such a lovely future.
