If you're currently unhappy with the images as they were shot, why not ask him to finish one of his choosing to see what they WILL look like before spending the money for him to finish images that you will ultimately not be happy with in the end?

You should delete this one too as you are outing a member and you can't really ask for a critique of someone else's work, only your own.

You should learn how to read. Reading comprehension is key. Read my post over and over again until you understand what I asked.

Does it make sense that I want some professional opinions on choosing which ones to have retouched?

You could accomplish the same thing without saying who the photographer was. For the purpose of "selecting" it is not relevant.

I did that to show that he DOES take excellent pics and that his work looked fabulous. That's why I paid him to take my pics. I don't care anymore, how can I delete this thread? People on here are so damn rude and hostile, like some lonely, miserable souls sitting at home attacking people online.

Contact a moderator and he can help you out

If you consider my comments an attack then there isn't much more to say. Best of luck in your career.

You have 34 post. They have well over 1,000. They probably know the rules better. Plus, you're not being very polite OR professional. I find it helpful to remember that this is a website for professionals. Any of your future contacts could be on this site. I've done casting for major national market magazines, and you're pretty; however from your attitude, if I recognized you from this post, I wouldn't cast you if you paid me.

I did a photoshoot with a photographer but for some reason the pics he took of me look far worse than the pics he took of other models on his website.

This is a critique and you're calling him out. It's against the rules. You could also get in trouble for sharing that dropbox link. I hope you have a photo release?

The pics of me are raw and unedited. He has not retouched them yet (he says that's the reason they don't look too good). But to me, they don't even look like they would be useful for my comp card or portfolio. Some are out of focus, some are blury, some have bad lighting.

The photos that I looked at look like something I would get off a shoot. Editing can go a long way. If you don't want to pay for editing, cut your losses and find someone else to shoot with. It's as easy as that.

This is why people should comprehend what they read before they reply. I don't even have to PAY him anything extra to edit the pics. The edits are included in the package, it comes with 6 edits! See, learn how to READ.

You didn't say you paid him, or that you only had 6 edits. I can read very well. Perhaps, it's your writing that's the problem. Or, it could be your additude.

You'll never get far in this business if you don't listen to others.

Even if I didn't say it why ASSUME that I didn't pay? I did pay, it wasn't a TFP, I actually paid. Tootles.

Oh my god, are you joking? You litterally complained that I didn't comprehend your post, so I told you what you DIDN'T say, and now you're upset because I'm assuming?

It's like talking to a rock. I'm done.

Oh and by the way, she's talking about John Fisher, who's sponsored by Paul C. Buff lighting. I think he knows what he's doing in reguards to shooting you, ma'am.
