Thank you so much!

I am sure your cousin Vinny Adams referred me to you, because I could help him out in a similar situation, earlier last year.

We had great success together, and I expect him talking highly about my professionalism.

He probably has still the documents and copy of my passport. If not, I'd gladly forward them to you with UPS as we did last year.

I know about the fees involved, make sense of course. So, where do you want me to send the money to?

Best seasons greetings to you and thank you for contacting me.

P.S.: Please extend your cousin my best wishes as well.

Psssssssssssssst. Did I tell you that I am from West Africa too? Sure enough - Scammyland. Like Eddie Murphy, I have my own money too!'

Anyway, my other American cousin, Vinny Boom Bah, suggested I contact you. I don't want any money, but a few cameras and lenses would be nice. Send them over and I will conduct an auction. I will send you the  proceeds right away. Really. I promise. Scouts honor.

Scambaiting is cool. BUT be careful. I did anti fraud for one of the banks habitually target by these guys once - and they're nasty nasty dangerous people.

Please be careful - it's all a laugh until someone loses an eye!

I had fun with one a few years ago. Instead of just replying to the email I wrote a rather random reply and then ran it through a translator and then again...and again and again. Each time I had it translate it to a different language until what was left was almost as bad as the grammar used by the scammers. Of course they replied anyway! I kept it up through 5 or 6 emails. Me and my friends got more laughs out of the translated message than anything else.

Why not waste a little of their time as long as you don't give away any actual personal information of course.

pfft. i had numerous email threads (years ago, and i saved them for posterity) with nigerian scam artists that were epic. those dudes never gave up back in the day, and it was fun to play off their tenacity. nowadays, if you mention either the nsa or obama, they respond with the standard "who are you" emails and turn tail.

i miss the good old days. smile

Cats are smart about the internets.  Heck, the internets was invented by a fat cat named Al Gore Kitteh.  Remember him, he is the cat that leaves his carbon footprints all over your car at night.  lol

Before you do that tell him that Vinny contacted you and said for you to "watch your back with this guy". That will get him to put more time into scamming you.

Only bring up the "Secret Service" when you think you are done playing with him. wink

Happy Birthday too!

True... but... I am pretty much done...

Years ago... I went to almost 10 or 15 email exchanges... had them really wiggling, thinking that they had a "stupid" whale on the hook... LOL

Thanks for the B'day wishes! smile
