Lansing Exposure Group Shoot
What: LEGS is a group shoot taking place near Lansing.

Who: Photographers and models 18+, from amateur to professional, are welcome, the event organizers reserve the right to reject any participant. You must be listed in order to attend.

When: Oct. 12th 11am-6pm  Registration/Check-in begins at 10am.
Please note the change in time. 

Where:      Marion Oaks Golf Course
                2255 Picnkney Rd./D19 
                Howell, MI 48843
This is an 18-hole Golf course that was abandoned and recently purchased. There is access to several outbuildings, club house and the entire grounds. 

Directions:
From I-96 East: I-96 East toward Lansing
Take exit #137/CR-D19/Howell/Pinckney.
Turn right onto Pinckney Rd (CR-D19)
Marion Oaks is on the left

From I-96 West:I-96 West toward Detroit
Take exit #137/CR-D19/Howell/Pinckney.
Turn right onto Pinckney Rd (CR-D19)
Marion Oaks is on the left


the basis behind L.E.G.S. is to network, collaborate, and portfolio building. L.E.G.S. is strictly a "Trade for" group shoot. No model or photographer is to ask for or pay for services rendered. MUA's are allowed to charge a reasonable kit fee to cover products that are being used that day. The photographers are to supply the model/MUA/stylist etc. with pictures in a timely manner. How they get there is between the parties involved(CD, DVD, Flash, Email) Everyone involved is expected to keep the times with the other parties and the perform in a professional manner. The limitations of the parties involved should be discussed before the shoot. No model or photographer should push another person to shoot what they are not comfortable shooting.


Fees:
Photographer/Model Fees: $20

MUA/Stylist Fees: $5 at the door. Reasonable MUA/stylists kit fees are allowed, but must be stated publicly in the list.

Assistant/Escort Fees: One working assistant or escort is welcome for $5 at the door. the Assistant\Escort must be assisting you in some manner, stay in your shooting area and not be wandering around other shoots. Assistants/Escorts that acts as models or second shooters must pay the full price for that role.


Security: Floor monitors will be at hand to ensure the overall peace. They will also periodically walk all the areas for to be of any assistance if needed.

Nudity is allowed but again use your better judgment. No Porn.

Dressing Room: Available to leave your belongings. ONLY Models will be allowed into the dressing room

Power: Maybe avaiable by the event.

As like most group shoots, Photographers/Models are advised to break up their shooting schedule into one hour slots. Two hour slots are also allowed. We also advise that you post your schedule.

You must be on the list to be included in the shoot. Once you are on the participation list, you can begin to contact people you would like to work with. If a person you wish to work with is not on this list, feel free to send them a link here to see if they are interested in participating. We ask that you not schedule with someone that has not been added to the official participation list. The list will be on-hand the day of the shoot and those not on it will not be allowed in the door.

New members are added daily, so check back periodically to see who has been added.


Cancellations: If you are listed as participating and cannot make it for any reason, please be courteous and contact anyone you have scheduled as soon as possible. Your attendance is important to them and advance notice will help them fill their empty slots quick. Simply not showing up without warning will result in banishment of all future LEGS events. If you do have a cancellation there will be a sheet at the sign-in table where photographers and models can list their open time slots.

First double bookings to sort out, and now several models I was so looking forward to work with have dropped out. Sorry to miss this, but very frustrated with those that don't keep their commitments, and now I am one of them. There just has to be a better way to do this. (Stephen Miller on Facebook)

I've been told the directions are incorrect.  They said coming east, or west on 96..... turn right to go south... crazy highway.

Jeremiah Rosa invited me and I would like to attend.

Anyone needing ride as wish to come let us know and we'll see if we can setup Car pool from your area or if need be I'll pickup as many people as I can.

Either way ya slice it....from the highway go south.   When I first went there my GPS didn't recognize the address, I had to enter it in under points of interest - Marion Oaks Golf Course, then it found it.

I Will be there....does anyone know who the MUA is? I would like to schedule a time with her so I can begin setting times for the photographers..

I looks like you have many more photographers than models.  I am quite interested in coming and shooting but Don't want to crowd the field.  Let me know if any of the photographers cancel and i can fill the spot.
