hmm, no not smoked enough cigarettes to be speechless wink ..ok stumbled across this a few times...n thought shall i ? ..So today been quiet ..

Ok first off, from what I see of the model she is attractive..but for me that is as far as it goes..the end of the line..the lighting for me is too flat..would prefer something more contrasty...even just a simple thing like the subway tickets...make them more bold or dramatic..that would lift the image..the background for me does not work.

You probably would not get away with it..but I would re-shoot it on the subway ..im guessing you would have to be quick. .or on a deserted railway line ( check that no power going through obviously) .though for that you would need to change the title.

Or just focus in on the tickets, zoom in on them

... Or since you appear to have brought an element of religion into the image ..an image of Salvador Dali springs to mind which maybe you to could adapt. smile

No question? What do you want to know?

Without guidance, it's a potentially interesting shot, but -- it falls short.
Technically, it's such even lighting that it has no focus and holds no interest.

Use it as a first draft of a better photo to come ... in other words, it's worth a redo.

Mechanically, it's a rough and unimpressive snapshot.

Conceptually, it's a hodgepodge and a fail. Unless you had explained the tickets, I'd never have known they were subway tickets, expired or otherwise. Still not sure what expired subway tickets have to do with religion and a naked woman.

The quality of the photograph is grainy. You need more light, shoot at a lower ISO.

The lighting comes off flat. Experiment with moving your light source in relation to your model (or your model in relation to your light source, if you are using natural light). Moving the light further to her right could create more dramatic shadows, which would add visual interest.

Compositionally I don't think you made the best use of your frame. Her body crosses diagonally out of the frame and the foreshortening makes it look weird to me. Everything feels tilted. Maybe being directly above her, or more clearly to one side or the other, would make a difference.

Conceptually I'm lost. Why are her hands positioned the way they are? Why are there random strips of paper on her pubic hair? The information that those are expired tickets doesn't add anything to this image for me. What do tickets have to do with this picture? Why are they placed there? I would sit down and write out your concept, what you want to achieve with it, what emotions you want your viewer to feel, what you want people to take away from this, etc. Don't stop shooting until you know you've got it.
