Alright guys, this is my latest composition. It is inspired from Chinese Mythology. I would really appreciate some feedback on it, I like it yet something is bugging but i don't know why.

cheers!

IMHO the image at this scale, it is a bit overwhelmed with white. It might
look quite different as a large print hanging on the wall though.

Well, I'm not sure if this effect was done mostly with the shooting, or, more likely in post production.  However, IMHO, the "light effects" are far over done and spill into too much of the "regular" image elements.  You might also try changing the brightness/contrast or shadows/highlights to see if you get more of the 'vision' that you may have for this image.  But, by all means, please get rid of the spill over magic light.  It is an assault on even the suspension of disbelief one needs a certain amount of to appreciate fantasy or mythology.

Just my 3¢   I still think the image has the basic elements to do what you want to achieve.

I agree on the comment of too much white. Maybe try putting some darks back into that area. Also, the only other thing that I would personally change if it were my image would be to place both the peacock and the person better compositionally with rules of thirds. Right now it just seems like they are stretched way too far apart from each other. good luck

Thanks for the comments guys!

The white light is supposed to be fog but there was definitely WAY TOO MUCH of it. Gave it another shot which changes a bit the mood of the picture. you guys can check it out here is you wish! http://www.flickr.com/photos/picshush/9883705014/

Anyway, thank you again for taking the time to critique my shot!
