What would you recommend as the best loose setting powder?

Seconding the Ben Nye - I carry their Bananna powder in my kit, as well as MUFE HD powder.

I personally love MUFE HD, but be sure to only use the tiniest bit. Generally I'll just swirl whatever's on the lid.

Ben Nye is by far the best selling... Hands down.  I'm from the old school, powder is powder.... it's all similar...nothing magic until you market it like it's gold...  That said I go for the cheaper options normally

I kinda like Unique, it burns a little sooty but gives me really consistent velocities.

Ben Nye is a great option because  it set well and they make a multitude of shades. You can order small empties with a sifter to make travel easy.

What do you think is the difference between Laura Mercier translucent and the Ben Nye other than price point. I'm debating...
