It's a 6 day 'Cruiseboat Photoshoot' docking at picturesque Cabo San Lucas and Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. If you're looking for someone who really knows how to put together some great shoots on this venue, THIS is your cruiseshoot. Your ticket purchase includes your cabin and all the food you can eat at both the (breakfast/lunch/dinner) buffet and the nightly captain's dinner. Once you are on board the ship, it will be easy to swap rooms between models and photographers, if that is your intention. Here's the link for ticket purchasing details, contact Kiki at 800-819-3902 Ext. 95922 http://www.carnival.com/BookingEngine/S … ompare=PFA This will be a 'one to one' photographer to model ratio event. Cabo San Lucas and Puerta Vallarta (see images below) are hands down the most beautiful beaches on Mexico's Pacific coast. This cruiseship has 2 nightclubs that are ROCKIN every night, resulting in MASSIVE funtimes when not shooting. Cameras also welcome inside nightclubs. There's also FREE entertainment, dance clubs and comedy shows every night. The 2 scheduled on ship photoshoots will be conducted in the late afternoon and early evening at on-board locations reserved by 'guest services' on the ship. ATTENTION INTERESTED PHOTOGRAPHERS: Unlike cruiseboat photoshoots organized by others, this event provides ZERO profit to the promotor. You DO NOT pay me, you purchase your discount cruise tickets directly from Carnival Cruiselines at a discounted rate. Each photographer attending MUST also purchase a cruise ship ticket for the model of his (or her) choice. And because it's YOUR model selection for this event, you are not forced to shoot a model that some organizer decides to invite without your input. Photographers must also allow other photographers to shoot their invited models, who will in turn allow you to photograph their invited model, providing all photographers with a multi-model shoot that YOU had a hand in selecting. OVER 20 FANTASTIC MODELS SEEKING PHOTOGRAPHER SPONSORS. Click on this link to see who they are! https://www.modelmayhem.com/casting/1945729 ATTENTION INTERESTED MODELS: Models attending this cruiseboat shoot receive a FREE cruise ticket from their sponsoring photographer. Any additional expenses accumulated on the cruise (bar tabs/souveniors/on shore expenses) will be YOUR responsibility. Model releases will be included for all 4 groupshoot photoshoots within the purchase of your cruiseship ticket. Models can also receive compensation pay by booking a few shoots on the 'Friday Paid One On Ones' day. Models will have the right to use any photo that photographers post or use. If you're interested in attending, please post a message on this events forum thread indicating your availablity, and photographers interested in sponsoring you will make contact. ATTENTION EVERYONE ATTENDING: To get on the cruiseship, you MUST HAVE either a US Passport, OR a certified Birth Certificate accompanied by a State Drivers License or State issued ID Card. Unlike other cruiseboat photoshoots offered by other sponsors, photographers & models are welcome to invite friends on this cruiseshoot, but they MUST NOT interfere with the proceedings of the 4 planned groupshoots. The 2 groupshoots onboard ship will last for 4 hours each (with 15 minute refreshment break). The 2 groupshoots on the beaches in Mexico will last for approximately 5 hours. ALL participating photographers and models on this cruise MUST attend the four groupshoots. Photographers can not sponsor more than TWO models, as maintaining a ratio as close as possible to 'one on one' is best for group events. Please post a message here if you're available and interested. DONT DELAY on making your reservations. Ticket prices for this event WILL DEFINITELY GO UP! Feel free to post a message here with questions, as well as confirmation of your participation. Hope to seeya on the Nov 2nd 'Cruiseboat Photoshoot'... Nov 02 13 11:21 pm Link I plan on booking early so I can get the best rates! My birthday is right after the cruise ends so I'm going to try to sponsor 2 or 3 models as I gift to myself! I'm going to run a casting call in late December for this event, and will list the models (with one photo) that respond... stay tuned. You are also welcome to run a casting. Several photographers the last 3 years for SM 'Cruiseboat Photoshoots' and came up with some fantastic models... Nov 03 13 09:42 am Link I would love to attend. Seeking sponsorship Nov 03 13 02:17 pm Link And alittle word to the wise. About 10 years ago, I went on a January Carnival Cruise to Catalina and Mexico. The weather was FUCKING FRIGID and I just about froze to death at BOTH locations... as well as to and from on the cruiseship. I can't imagine trying to conduct a photoshoot in such miserable weather. If you're smart, you'll SERIOUSLY think twice about going on a cruise in January or February... Nov 04 13 12:18 am Link Nov 2, 2014 November should be nice if no tropical storms. Gary, your right about January and February! I went last February and it was too cold on deck. The pool was empty (no water) until we got to Mexico. We were lucky it didn't rain and was warm for that time of year. I would only do Caribbean islands out of Florida during winter months. Nov 04 13 09:14 pm Link I did some "what if" pricing. Ocean view for two is $1250 total. Interior room for FOUR is $1550. So, I could bring 3 models with interior room. It seems like the low rate forces a 4 person occupancy. Nov 04 13 09:22 pm Link Bob-W wrote: Bob, 4 people crammed in a little interior room would be chaotic to say the least. The clothes of three models are gonna bury you alive. And you'll never get bathroom time with 3 girls in the room. LOL. Nov 04 13 09:57 pm Link James Sioux wrote: All this is TRUE. I'd recommend bringing NO MORE than 2 models per photographer. Keeping the ratio to as close to 'one on one' as possible makes for an event that is MUCH EASIER to organize and coordinate... AND... it would save you several hundred dollars... It seems there are only a few rooms available on that deck. The room is near the rear but I prefer the front, so maybe a room will become available. Nov 05 13 06:22 pm Link Bob-W wrote: Hey Bob... yeah... those ocean view rooms have HUGE balconys. Definitely a great place for shooting... Nov 06 13 01:59 pm Link Gary, The one I reserved was Ocean View portal not balcony but now I just changed to an extended balcony on Empress deck. I'm booked! Nov 07 13 10:14 am Link I think it's too early to pick models and expect a commitment that far in the future. I'll probably start looking in May. Nov 07 13 10:35 pm Link Way to go!! Bob may be the very first one on board. Would they charge you a fee for adding the name of the other passenger at a later date? Nov 08 13 12:34 am Link James Sioux wrote: Yaaaaay Bob...
