Hi
I want to know your opinion about this retouching ?
For me, I think I worked on the texture of the skin way too much.
What are the things I have to remove/add ? Anything new I can learn ?
Thank you guys!

Salam Adel,
You over did it a bit. She has no face features. Need to return her to a more realistic look.
Good luck

Is that the before or after image?

If it's the "after", then I think it needs a lot more editing:

1. The bumps on the skin look very strange, I would edit those out.

2. Powder/makeup is a bit thick near the lower center base near the eyes.

3. Too much color variation in the skin, but looks like 2 different light temperatures (I would fix).

It's just all the bumps on the skin, they look like goose (er people?) bumps, but so many. I would get rid of those if you can.

The skin looks like a dry river bed. It needs some luster or sheen  to soften some of the details.

I don't know how to do it but your avatar is a good example.

You need to scroll right.  There is a before and after image.  Some people may have missed it if they have a small screen.  I had to shrink the image down and scroll right to get them both on my large screen.

To the OP: I think you did a very good job.  I like it.  But I am not an expert retoucher.  :-)

It's a bad image to use any IHP technique on it ... I'm not against IHP techniques because I use them myself but I can realise when it will ruin the photo or not.
Loose all the inverted high pass and do it entirely with D&B ... you'll see that the result will be a lot better...
I quite like how the hair looks beside some places . There are still some patches of uneven texture in the hair but you're on the right track.

I use a fun tool to determine whether or not beauty retouch passes muster. It's something I was taught by Dan Margulis at one of his advanced retouch seminars. It's genesis has more to do with difficulty in printing than any other reason, because Dan was more about real world applications than he was about beauty.

I took a screen grab of the retouched image you provided and put it in the appropriate place in my orange peel layered file. This is your skin below.

If this looks more like an orange to you than it does skin, you have a problem on your hands. Don't feel too bad about it, so far, hardly anyone that posts in the Digital  forums can pass this test. Almost all the skin presented in here looks like it belongs on an orange. The problem was addressed by one of the respondents in an earlier post... almost all of the skin retouch that you can find in these forums, completely eliminates any sense of humanity.
