The SM Studios will be the host location for this 12noon to 6pm shoot, complete with pro headshot setup and antique loveseat in studio #1, cargo net and stuffed animal arrangement in studio #2, white cove with beauty dish and hairlight in studio #3, grey canvas and new jacuzzi setting in studio #4, daylight balanced makeup lights and glamour curtain arrangement in studio #5. This is a limited attendance funshop event (like a workshop but more fun) with 8 models, 14 photographers. Free pizza and drinks for everyone at the shoot, and free munchies and drinks thru-out the day. Photographer cost is $60. Special pre-set lighting configurations and tips will be provided in all 5 studios. Models hairstyling will be provided. Attending models will receive a 'Christmas Holiday Traveling Makeup Kit' ($70 value) and must come makeup ready. I will be posting sample model images with backgrounds and lighting configurations to be used at this funshop. There will be 90 minutes of 'one on ones' (1/2 hour intervals/3 one on ones total) at the end of the groupshoot, with a few minutes of 'organize time' between each shoot.Shoot me a message in you're interested in attending, I'll save you a spot. The 5 shooting areas to be configured for this funshop are:  Shot of Shalee in the makeup lights, studio #3, recommended for B&W glamour.  Mikhailey in the stuffed animal arrangement, step in studio #1.  Shot of Christina in the white cove, rope swing and fan available there.  Spinning stripper pole with jel lights available in studio #3, Stephanie in action!  Pro headshot setup in studio #1, here's the fan blowing Briana's hair.  The Red Chair and snoot light available in studio #2, Lola Baby gets upside down.  Stripbox and snootlight with canvas background in studio #1, here's glammed out Mimi Spring. Nov 14 13 04:44 pm Link For those photographers still learning lighting techniques this is an awesome shoot. Gary has years of experience to share and you can take advantage of it here. For you models this is a great opportunity to be shot by photographers who will be schooled in lighting techniques to give you better results. I learned alot being at several of these with Gary and more so I am grateful that I have learned. Oh my goodness, there is a bonus too. You get to meet new models too as Gary knows so many and newbies want to be a part of his shoots. I plan on being there to see who the models are. Nov 21 13 07:14 pm Link My mind's eye remembers Henry very well. He would seem to show up at every shoot I was attending. I never got to know him as he was on the quiet side and it appeared he was always thinking about the next shot. It was my experience being around him that he was polite and humble. I am sure his work was good, but I do not recall every seeing it...even in the print competitions at the Gardena Camera Club. Sad to read this...
