Ready to build an awesome portfolio?

Tired of shooting models, who look totally different in pictures and in person?

Building a portfolio suitable for agencies to begin testing is essential. To do so, a photographer must show a not-so-over the top photography (remember simplicity is beauty!). Simple lighting and simple processing.

In this meetup I will share with you the things that I have learned shooting for a modeling agency credible portfolio. We will utilize the one lighting setup that creates soft, beautiful and flattering light.

Down and Dirty:
1. We will have a makeup/hair artist
2. We will have a wardrobe stylist.
3. We will have lights setup ( you can bring your own trigger receiver, if not, we can borrow from one another). Light setup will be an alien bee/einstein lighting.
4. To ensure quality vs. quantity we will only have 6-7 photographers in this meetup.
5. conditional refunds (please see refund section) since the money will be used to pay the model, the stylist, the makeup/hair and the location and equip rentals.

Nice to Know:
If you want to learn some post processing ( two more hours ) from some of my techniques please contact me in email for signups (additional fee will be incurred- contact me for rate. this you can pay on the day of the workshop). We will edit the shoot after the workshop 4pm onwards. I personally edit all the photos on my portfolio (www.frozenframephoto.com).

I will teach you:
1. Skin retouching
2. Tone correction and effects
3. Saving a workflow (actions in RAW editor and in Photoshop)
4. Answer any question you might have
* must have a working knowledge of Photoshop.
* must bring a laptop with Photoshop in it ( you can actually download a free trial online on adobe.com)
