Why do I want one of those boxes of processed "au gratin" potato casseroles? For some reason, that's all I can think about. They taste like creamy cardboard.

There are only 2 dishes that contain potatoes that I won't eat. You just named one of them! The other is potato salad. OK, maybe potato balls with gravy, a German dish. I won't even try that crap.

I went to Germany and lost 5 pounds in a week. I developed a fever and they tried to get me drunk. It's a wonder I didn't die over there. Trust me, you have had it cooked right. I like one German food, spaetzle. Minus the gravy, I prefer it in a broth. I'm part German too.

I was cravin hard shell tacos about 5 hours after getting a wisdom tooth pulled last week. Tough to fight the temptation.

The chipmunk cheek swelling thing is gone now and it's no longer bleeding at all when I brush the area or anything. I think that's why I lived off beans for a few days. Just mashed them a bit and swallowed them by the cupful haha .

I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth removed like 8 years ago, because the bottom two were growing out sideways. I never had dental insurance, or the money, so I just figured I'd wait. I'm 31 now, and they have never bothered me, other than my bottom teeth aren't 100% perfectly straight anymore. It's really pretty minimal though. I have to be super astute with cleaning my back teeth though. I actually use cotton swabs to get around the back of the upper wisdom teeth, so I can clean them. Toothbrushes won't fit that far back. Flossing is tight on the bottom teeth. It would have been easier if I'd had them removed, but it's so expensive and honestly, I didn't absolutely *need* to have them taken out. I actually grew extra adult teeth when I was a kid, and those got removed. Like, they were more than normal for a set of adult teeth. They were these little, weird stubby extra teeth, kind of in behind my regular teeth. I was maybe 8 or so years old.

P I X I E wrote: Haha yeah it was weird that I was craving kale of all things! Well, it's chewy and most people put some kind of seasoning or dressing on it. I can eat a whole tray of kale chips, but I think it's mostly because I make them salty, or spicy, or a combination of both flavors, so I'm probably craving the salt and heat, not so much the kale part.

I was craving it the way I usually cook it: on the stove top, in olive oil, garlic, sea salt, and shallots. OMG SO GOOD!

They were these little, weird stubby extra teeth, kind of in behind my regular teeth. I was maybe 8 or so years old. I was supposed to have them removed probably 8-10 years ago too but I also didn't have the insurance...and they bothered me but the pain would come and go so I didn't care much. If they aren't causing any problems you should be good then! The one I had removed kinda sucked. It was impacted and the roots were slightly favoring the 2nd molar so I guess the tooth socket was facing back towards the throat which is tough for the dentist to get into. Also since it never came all the way out the entire tooth was still in the jawbone. Or something like that haha. So they basically cut and break away and apply enough pressure to make you think you will be leaving with a broken jaw for about 45 minutes lol. Anyway, the tooth was in very little to no pain at all. It only bothered me for a couple days to be honest with you, and I'm glad it did otherwise I wouldn't have even gone to the dentist to get it checked out. Over the past six weeks I randomly got flu like symptoms and broken out into hives whenever I showered or trained or raised my core temperature above normal. I've never had skin problems so I didn't know wtf was going I. I assumed I was allergic to something and just picked up benedryl. These were CONSTANT. There wasn't a single shower in the past month an a half that didn't cause them to come out. After an hour 90% of them would fade, but they always came back worse each time. So yeah, I would wake up feeling lethargic, and I assumed the hives were the reason for that as far as losing motivation and being depressed or something because you don't know what's wrong and it sucks having little to no control over the situation. Anyway, yup a toothache came somewhere through the middle of all of that, and the very next day after it was all said and done and removed (besides my face being swollen and spitting blood) I felt amazing. And, the very first shower and everyone since then, no hives or anything. So crazy. If it never started acting up, I would have never gotten it checked out and would have never known how badly it was infected. I know I just shared a TON of info that some of you would probably rather not care to see, but just something to be aware of. If you randomly break out in hives for a duration and you have never had them before, or just seem to feel less like yourself on a daily basis and have no clue why...or just seem to get sick more often, besides obviously seeing the Dr. maybe make a trip to the dentist as well. Had it removed Friday and I feel the best I have felt in the past couple months. And like I said, the tooth pain was only there for a couple days so don't use that as a gauge on whether or not there's a problem there.

I had jaw pain a few years ago, which I thought was related to my wisdom teeth. Turns out it was my sinuses. Every fucking health problem I've ever had is upper respiratory. I blow blood out of my nose 6 months out of the year, and get bags under my eyes so bad that people who've hired me for shoots before have commented on them. I was hospitalized when I was 7, and the doctors thought I had spinal meningitis. They told my parents I might die, and nurses and doctors came into the room wearing these like spacesuit/decontamination get-ups. I don't even know what you would call them. Turns out.... it was just a sinus infection. It'd gotten so bad it'd some how managed to infect my upper spine area. I was in there for about 10 days. So, yeah, the thing I thought was my teeth needing to be pulled, it was actually my fucked up sinuses acting up as an adult.

That must have been scary as hell to go through as a kid. Goes to show how much of a pathway our bodies really are. Something that you think is wrong "here" is actually a much bigger issue "there." Crazy

It has 8 grams of protein in 1-2 tablespoons, is high in B vitamins, and tasted like cheese. You can mill it with hemp seeds and get this amazing combination of complete protein, fatty acids, and it tastes like parmesan. I can eat it with a spoon out of the grinder. It's really, really good for you. I have cravings for it.
