Setting powder or finishing powder
Ok, so as we all know there is a difference between a setting and finishing powder. I wanted to know is Kett Cosmetics Sett (loose) powder a finishing or setting powder? I worry because it's first ingredient is talc and I have read here on the forum that that ingredients causes flashback?? So have you used the Kett Sett Powder? Does it cause flash back? Is it a setting or finishing powder? Thanks Feb 08 14 11:42 pm Link SmashinBeauty wrote: Really? Please enlighten here... is it in the milling process i.e. how fine the particulates are? Most finishing powders contain silica = flashback (this is what I was really aiming at) but I do find that finishing powders are more finely milled ArtistryImage wrote: People or MUAs that do face/body painting have claimed that talc makes their face paint "water resistant" but can cause flashback, so this is why I asked.
