Keith is one of the most exciting and experimental photographers to emerge in recent years and has created many iconic images

which will be so familiar .

Keith’s work is renowned for  his use of innovative and unique lighting which

transforms an ordinary image in to something extraordinary.

You are invited to spend a day with him and our two professional models at the stunning location of the Pit and Pendulum in

central Nottingham

We will be showcasing designer fashion items from local designers and incorporate these into the shoot, as well as working with

a top make-up artist who will create unique looks to give you the 'Wow' factor. The day will progress to art nude levels to incorporate

the maximum number of looks throughout the day.



The working areas include authentic deralict spaces that are full of natural light and quirky backgrounds to bring depth and texture

to your images. There are unique features within the building that will be worked by the models to create stunning narratives and

Keith will provide simple yet effective ways to utilise lighting all of which are within the remit of most serious amateurs with a

basic studio kit.

The day will include refreshments and a buffet lunch.

It will progress in a workshop style where you will be instructed on logistics and design of the set, getting the most from your

model

and gaining confidence in directing and personalising each shot.

Active participation will be encouraged and numbers will be kept small to allow every photographer ample time to shoot

'each set' and get individual input from the tutor. Questions are encouraged as well as group interaction.



Lighting effects will include,



⁃               Use of natural light and reflectors to create stunning emotive images

⁃               Use of studio lighting and various light modifiers

⁃               Use of low key directional lighting to create drama mood

⁃               Use of creative speedlight lighting

⁃               Use of LED lighting panels



All levels of photographer will be catered for in this  comprehensive workshop



The cost of the day will be £150 per person and you will be required to bring your own DSLR camera. Please make sure your

camera can be fitted with a wireless trigger.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be available throughout the day and a buffet lunch served.

Please note that the venue is a derelict space and you will be required to climb steep stairs and be aware of any health and safety instructions given on the day.

Further information on equipment to bring, travel and parking will be given out prior to the event.
