I am a young photographer in need of some critique and or advice when it comes to my work please! You've got her shoe coming out of her head like a rabbit ear. A tight crop above bench armrest and close to her shoulders would remove distractions except for shoe. Flash blasted. If you wanted high-key look, you needed more light on background and model needed to be farther away from the background to avoid shadows. A reflector here might have been better than a flash. Overexposed. Overexposed. Proper exposure would have brought out her green eyes. Need to crop out left half of picture. Post-Processing can deal with complexion problems. What, specifically, is the focus of this picture? Where are our eyes supposed to look at? The wrinkled suit? tattoos? piercings? Her face (hidden by glasses)? Also, does she want us to see stretch marks, the hand shadow on her chest? (See first comment, at top) ???? Did you put a texture layer on this shot? It looks like there's sand all over it. Or is this noise from a tiny sensor point and shoot? Also looks like there's glare hitting the lens.Any one, plus the overexposure, really spoils what could have been a really nice shot. Not the best pose for this model + tilted brick lines. ] Interesting portrait. Did you want the green cast - it's a real question. Better pose BUT her nail polish on her pinky looks chipped and her lipstick does not look well applied. Best exposure. Learn more about lighting, exposure and posing and watch what's in your frame!
