It was recently pointed out to me that my approach to skin in close up beauty images is less than ideal.  Close up beauty is not my forte, so I took that to heart and tried out some new things on a close up shot I had lying around.  What do you think of the skin?  Is it smooth enough?  Too smooth?

It's fine, you're limited by a less than good initial lighting.
If you want to challenge yourself work with images that are lit in a way that pronounces texture.

There's really not a lot to say.

You won't have great images unless you START with a great image
