I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but there is someone from @mailworks.com email for a mid-year sales catalog asking me to model for 7 hours for $150 an hour, asking for this information, and saying they'll send me a $2650 check in advanced to cover costume costs for me to deposit and send to the designer AND a $300 deposit for me to follow through with the job? Just sounds like a scam but really don't want it to be ;( Here's what they want me to send them, that makes me think it is(Other than all the money up front!!)

The check they send you is fake but looks real enough to get deposited. It will take long enough for your bank to figure this out that you will be credited for the deposit. You send money to the other parties which is your own real money. When the bank finds out the check is fake, they will take back any money they credited to you, leaving you with a loss of whatever you sent to the other parties (who are really the scammers).
