great lighting, great tones, nice sharpness and nice feel. this is by far the best shot ive seen on here tonight, and ive been on the forums for an hour lol.

one tip. when editing close ups like this on women, dont forget to clone stamp out the hairs above the mouth, and on the chin. all women have peach fuzz, and you cant see it unless you stick your face up to hers in the right lighting orrrr if you backlight a close up headshot like this. when doing men its up to you or them to leave the hair or not.

thanks for the tip Nephilium, but in this case I wanted the peach fuzz to be shown cause it is part her. I mean she is not a young hot model, she is (was . she passed away) my 90 y. old GrandMa .. and showing the peachsfuzz, like those 2 black hair she has on her upper lip, give the pic that rustic nature look. I Hope this makes sense.
Grazie, Ciao

I love looking at old peoples eyes, I think they look so much wiser than young person's eyes.
This is a great picture and I don't agree with photoshopping it, maybe you should also photoshop wrinkles? Doesn't make sense, it is great as it is.

It's lovely. For me it's a little close though. I'd prefer it less severely cropped to the face.
