So you all know, the moderators are aware of this scam and are working hard to purge it from the system.

If you get one of these emails, don't hesitate to contact a moderator by clicking the "help" button in the upper right hand corner and then "contact a moderator."

If you receive the message on MM, please also "flag" the message which can be done when you are reading it.   That allows the moderators to also read the message and get involved.

We appreciate all the help that each of you gives us in tracking down these scams.  Sometimes they can be slippery, opening multiple profiles or hacking the profiles of members.  You do need to know that the site takes it very seriously.

Thanks too to each of you that has given her good advice.  I hope we don't get too many more reports but don't be afraid to make them!

Moderator Note!
The profile that sent the scam PM had been Hijacked
the profile was removed until we could verify that the hijacker(s) were booted off and the account was returned to control of the original owner

If anyone thinks they have received a scam PM they can flag it for us

Please use the new "Flag this PM/Sender" feature found at the bottom of the message.
That even gives you the option to include the message that was sent to you so that we can take a look at that as well.

We have some slight experience in these matters.

No company in their right minds would send an unknown person an extra $2000 to send someone else. Why would they not just send the $2000 to that stylist themselves? Come on. That is stupid to depend on you not to keep the money, loose the check or screw up the address. Do you know of a company that asks you to forward money to someone you don't know?

They also always tell you:
1. it's not nude, they send you clothes and provide a stylist, why do they need to tell you that?
2. you can bring a escort, what job specifically tells you you can bring an escort if you are of age?
3. they all use the term "shooting" instead of just shoot or session
4. the magazine name changes, but the messages are all the same
5. it's always a gmail, hotmail, yahoo or free email service address, not a company domain
