Hi everyone,

My name is Laurence and I'm a new MUA. I've been reading the forums for a couple of days and decided to join. I did my first official wedding few weeks ago and I'm now working to build my freelance business. I don't have a portefolio yet but this is one of the things I'm working on. Having an online one and a traditional one (printed photo) because of the area I'm living with (far from big cities), I think both is important. I have a plan on things to do and I'm going to do them: having my business cards (they are already done on my computer) and as soon as it's done I'm going to contact each photographer in my area, each store related to prom, weddings or "higher-end" store" to let them know about me. I'm willing to trade my time and talent for photo and I will let the photograph know.

I'm happy to be here and learn from more seasonned people in the industry.
