There are some truly beautiful threads going on. That, and I probably wouldn't be able to sleep anyway, because my downstairs neighbors are having a rowdy drunken party. She asked me if I wanted to come and party with them. Nope. I had more than enough of that last night.

Time to wet-sand a beautiful guitar I bought a few months ago. I wanted to fall in love with it but the neck is too skinny for my big-ass hands so it goes on ebay. Should be good money and the right player will totally love it. Handmade in Britain of exotic woods and beautiful design. Not the best refinish, how I found it. Here is one that nobody messed with. http://www.patrickeggleguitars.org/htm/bplus.htm How's that for random?

I prefer it when my threads have no logic to them. The best is when they have no substance either.

I found a Deacon 12 string on ebay a few years ago, nearly mint. $450 buy it now. I grabbed it. Then I found a NOS neck from the auction they had when they quit making the Deacons and Preachers. I made a Deacon 12 string that had never been played, took photos to document it. Got almost $1400 for it on ebay. Kept the extra neck, found a 6 string Preacher around the corner from me on craigslist. Gonna make a Preacher 12 string like yours, it's about 4 projects down the line right now. Best neck on an electric 12 string guitar, period. I have played them all. Yours is worth in the $800 to $1,000 range right now, they made a lot more Preacher 12 strings than Deacons (about 400). More randomness!!!

Nick Cave is glad too, because that means he made money off of you.
