Hello,

I was wondering how easy is it to use to edit photography on photoshop using wacom?

Pretty easy, I use my wacom tablet but nearly all my retouching, I only use my mouse when I'm working on easy fashion stuff and I'm too lazy to pull out my tablet.  I find it  essential for beauty work and really just makes all work go faster.  They're also pretty much whats exclusively used in professional retouching studios (at least the one I've been to, every station had the most advanced wacom and it's what everyone was using) so if you're looking to really get into it professionally it's a great tool to learn.

Basically if you do a lot of healing/cloning or D&B work it's great.  I could never go back to using just a mouse.

i've become so use to it that I don't even use a mouse any more even for other computer activities. There is an adjustment period that you go thru getting used to using the stylus but after that it becomes second nature and editing feels very natural with it.

It just feels so much more natural retouching and doing digital art with a stylus pen on tablet vs using a mouse.

after using one for a day, the mouse feels like a dull rock!

I use a mouse for all normal computer work.
But, I use the Wacom for all retouching - which makes it virtually effortless. The mouse just isn't the right tool for that.

At first it takes a little getting used to, but after that it's effortless. Just like drawing. You can have total control on all kinds of detailing.

I'm planning to get one too once I saw Scott Kelby using it in his retouching video tutorials. I believe he also has about an hour video tutorial on how to use it for retouching.

It's the only way to edit once you get the hang of it.  The precision it offers and the pressure sensitive response makes using a mouse seem like painting with a brick.

Think about writing your name with the mouse and compare that with using a pen and you'll get the how big the difference is in speed and detail smile

Once you switch to good tablet - its awfully hard to go back and do it any other way. Pressure control , stroke directions - all that is so easy and becomes second nature.

However there are plenty of people who work with just mouse and do good job.
