Anyone on here making reasonable dough using Zivity?

Would depend on definitions of reasonable and how you look at it overall.
I have a couple sets up and so far have made about $12 from them in a little over a month that the sets have been live but that is $12 bucks I would not have otherwise.

Unless you are shooting models who do a lot of self promotion I wouldn't expect to make much. I think the last time I submitted a set was 2010...

There have been a few threads on this subject and the general consensus was that if you're doing it as part of what would otherwise be just a TF shoot, fine, but don't expect to make any significant $$ from it.

we've made a few hundred dollars which we've reinvested in zivity by buying votes and sponsoring contests.

for me zivity isn't about the money. it's about access to a different pool of models and about checking out the art on display (and the community aspect). and i like being able to show 30 images from a scene, not just one or two.

the #10 photographer for the last 30 days has 462 votes. and i think each vote is worth 30 cents. so $139.

I've made about $900 this year. About $200 of that was from prizes that I won for my self shot sets, I would have won that had I just been the photographer as well (the photographer gets prize winnings). And $70 worth was from referrals ($10 per subscriber signed up through me). The difference would be that instead of about $600 in voting revenue (at 55 cents per vote), I would have made about $330 (at 30 cents per vote). In terms of how I rank... I've gone from the top 10 to more often in the top 40 or so. I don't publish as many sets as some of the more popular models (who are always in the top 10 to 20) and I don't have quite the fan base as I'm not on any other sites (like SG or CosplayDeviants). However, I consistently do better than the majority of other models on the site because I stick with it and I do promote my sets. It is absolutely true that once the set is published, the work shifts strongly to the model and if the model promotes the set and has a fan base, you'll do a lot better than a model who doesn't bother promoting or gaining a fan base. Subscribers/fans want to talk to and interact with the model.

Truth is that it is almost impossible to earn enough from a set to match what a decent photographer would charge to shoot it.  I've published about 80 sets on Zivity and less than 10 of them earned enough for me to consider them "worth" the time I put into making them.

However...  I LOVE Zivity.  The work I do on there is more for fun and experience than anything else.  The checks I receive are just gravy.

My advice is to use the site as an outlet for work you want to do anyway, as a opportunity to network, and just for fun.  If you look at it as a source of income, you will be disappointed.
