A Canon 70-200 2.8L lens. Still debating between the two IS versions.

A Point and Shoot would do.

The World's first Point and Shoot with an APSc sized sensor.

... and a flash sync speed of 1/2000th sec (for anybody who cares.)

(and note those crooked eyelets!)

Waiting for you here:

.

Unless you've ever heard of the Fujifilm X100

But it's not a Leica.  And it's half the price.  And it's much more portable, even pocketable.  But it doesn't have crooked eyelets.

Yes, the crooked eyelets set it one notch over and above! lol

... and the Leica stamp on every EXIF of the image... smile

Not bad for a P&S

I like my X100 very much. I need a zoom. smile

Aaw shucks... I already have a zoom in my X10... but, what ever!

My next gear purchase all depends on what happens.

I don't anticipate needing a new camera body anytime soon, but if the one I have dies, it'll be a camera body. I'm thinking 7D here. If things work out right, it'll be a new lens.  Either the 24-105 F4 or 24-70 F2.8.  I'm leaning toward the 24-70, though, and it's because of the F2.8. I like the idea of an extra 35 mm in focal length but I also like the idea of being able to shoot indoors without a flash.

Thanks for looking out John, I really appreciate it, but thats an "Air Remote" (I already  2 of those) Not the Air USB. the Air USB plugs into a USB port and allows you to control your lights from your MBP standalone, or use the C1 plugin, allowing you to adjust your lights while in C1, from a panel.

At least one Nikon D810 to replace one of my D800 bodies.  Gotta love that 64-12,800 ISO.  Great for studio and a variety of natural light situations.

Oh you're right - I still haven't upgraded my D4 to air - but I'm going to want one of those too when I do, to control from C1.

The Profoto B1 2-light location setup with on camera Air remote TTL for Nikon would be extremely nice.

A D810...and move my 800 to backup status.

It'll either be the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VRII or the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART lens and something else with it.
