Is anyone familiar with TPG brush set? http://www.thepowdergroup.com/shop/?pro … collection

I've searched all over for reviews but came up with nothing. I know it's by Crown but no one has vouched about the quality of this set and if it's a good value. I'm hoping to go to the Makeup Show this year but just wanted feedback as to whether it's worth my to to stop by the booth. Can these be a real workhorse, or will there be shedding and cracked handled?

I've spotted this set as well: http://m.sephora.com/product/P388777. Seems super lovely but exclusive to Sephora.

I haven't handled The Powder Group's brushes - but they are a "main player" in the industry. Activities have included starting The Makeup Show, magazine and current educational workshops.

So, they've got a lot of reputation to uphold and I can't see them putting their name on a shabby line of makeup brushes.

Since you'll be going to one of the shows - take the time to touch and handle the brushes. There is usually a good cross section of brush vendors - from super bargain cheap to high end premium tools.

I definitely plan to Liz. I was trying to get my kit together sooner, than later, and the show is about a month away which seems so far. I hope the quality is legit.
