Would love to hear feedback from my photos. I'm pretty new, and I love constructive criticism, so have at it.

I think your best image is the B&W, which is well composed, shows you doing something believable, and has good lighting. The rest are of minimal value.

The face in your avatar, is nice, but there is a great deal of strain in the neck and body, and the hair literally disappears on your right side.

The golden grass image appears overexposed and washed out, and your expression isn't pleasing.

Your rooftop image is very stiff and unnatural looking. The grafitti image is simply putting color in front of colors, and again, seems stiff. The rooftop image in the back top, at least shows a different expression, but there is no interest in the image.

In looking over your profile, I think you are interpreting glamour incorrectly. Glamour is sexy imagery, often at least partially nude. I suspect you are interpreting glamour as beauty........which is a totally separate genre.

For me the best image is your Avatar, it shows your face well. I also like the roof top image with you sitting as far as showing your body type. To me the B&W is a good photo but it doesn't show you very well, more of a photo for a photographers port.

When I'm looking for models I like to see photos that show; their face and body type. The two photos I talked about would be the factor of me booking you or not. Not the B&W photo of you taking a shoe off.

You have a nice look, work with the best photographers that you can. The more you shoot the better you can hone your skills.

Hi Ashlee,

First, forget about any critique comments about your photographers. It's not your fault if they compose the frame poorly, or over-expose an image, or don't light you properly.

Look at your near upper arm in these images:

In the portrait image, your arm looks bigger. Move your arms out from your body as if you were holding an egg in your armpit. Although, by pressing your arms to your torso increases the width of your arms, it also increases the cleavage. So pick your poison.

Continued success!

You have a good start and you have a good look so the potential is there.

As of now, you need to work on your expressions and poses.  Diddo, on the arms out from the body.  All of this can be worked out.  Practice in the mirror and shoot, shoot, shoot.

You can gauge what you might get based on a photographers current work.

Your strongest image
Next time move models left elbow off to side, this will reduce the squishing at top of arm by shoulder and help to fill bottom of frame, you can also do the same with your right elbow

I like your images, the only one which I find I'm not drawn to is the one in front of graffiti. Your head is positioned in a way that looks uncomfortable and unnatural, but the rest are a good start.

Thank you for pointing out little details that make a big difference! This is the kind of feedback I love.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to view my images and provide feedback. I'm new and trying to shoot/learn as much as possible within this first year, so this is all very much appreciated!

Your main pic is by far the best for booking work. Don't post photos less than amazing. Quality over quantity wink

Overall, there's a legit-ness to your face & look that is very solid. Not a bland girl-next-door thing, and nothing leaps out as "just wrong" (something too big, something too small, etc). The rooftop shot really made me think "hell yeah, you, me, and some vintage cameras and old-school chemical prints". I think you'd do really well with someone a little more avant, styling and shooting-wise.

I'd also try to get some pieces that really show your shape & body proportions, I don't get a good feel from any of these shots of how you're built & proportioned (and it is a "portfolio"). Slinky full-length stuff, tasteful semi-nudes, lingerie, whatever - but shot with a little more art & feel.

There's a hardness to your face I find really quite badass and unique. Look around for people that get that. All of these comments about the shadow on your arm or whatever? All I thought was "I could have a world of fun lighting those cheekbones".

Best feedback ever! You are awesome. I've booked a few new photographers in the coming weeks so hope to keep the diversity coming!
