September 15, 2009 2:15pm I could just be reading this shot through the lens of the necklace / blue tights image, or perhaps I am just one-track minded ... At any rate, I see something similar going on here, the clock seeming to mark duration as the half-empty bottle did in that shot. In this image, the sense of change is heightened by the rough line of the upper garment, which seems to have been torn or slashed away, exposing the blue tights or leggings which seem again to represent a transformation or absorption (into the specific element of water in the previous shot, and into time / eternity itself in this one). I could be completely off the mark, of course, but it is certainly an image full of fascination. ;)
